Beauty is a billion-dollar business. It’s a fact that most women want to look their best and delay the signs of ageing for as long as possible. That goes for me too. I have been interested in beauty products since I was a teenager and I love trying out new products.
When we’re young it’s easy to think that it isn’t important to take care of our skin, but it is. How we treat our skin when we are in our teens and twenties affects what it will look like further down the road. I have always been careful to cleanse, tone and moisturize twice a day as well as doing the fun part of applying make-up.
In this article, I will be looking at some of the beauty products out there in skincare, hair care and cosmetics. I will tell you what you need in your bathroom cabinet and I will also look at different brands, both old and new. Some of the older brands are just as trendsetting as the newer ones. I’ll also tell you what is my choice is for the best beauty product for 2019.

Amazon.com is a good place to read reviews on the products you plan to purchase. Each item usually has plenty of customer reviews so you will be able to assess how good or bad the product is.

There are so many products out there from skincare to haircare to cosmetics, but which of these are essential? I would say that what you should do twice a day is cleanse your face. There are many different types of cleanser which you can choose from; for example, liquid, cream or gel. It should always suit your skin type, be it dry, greasy, sensitive or a combination.

Lancôme is over 80 years old but it is still innovative and very popular with those prepared to pay just that little bit more. It combines a modern style together with timeless quality in its skincare, make-up and fragrance products.
The number 1 cosmetics company in the US is Maybelline which has also been around for a while. It started off as a small family run business but now sells all over the world. They encourage women to be individuals and to find their own style. Their make-up is trendsetting and very affordable.
Another affordable cosmetics brand is Covergirl which has been around since 1961 but is still very popular especially with younger women. It is considered to be a bright and breezy make-up brand which is great for even those on a budget.
If you are looking for skin care products you won’t go far in choosing Clinique which focuses on these products rather than on make-up. They have products for all skin types and tones.
Olay is another well-established brand which is still one of the biggest names out there. It is sold all over the world, not just in America. They specialize in cleansers, moisturizers, anti-ageing products and acne treatments.
Of course, there are new brands out there which have gained popularity and should be looked at. MAC focuses on individuality and diversity. They have created make-up for all races, ages and genders.
NYX is growing fast and they have products available in over 70 countries. They are affordable so even those of you on tight budgets can buy their products.
Bobbi Brown was created by the make-up artist of the same name. She focuses her attention on creating make-up which enhances the natural beauty of women.
